Born and raised in Southgate, Michigan, Christian Graziani graduated from Southgate Anderson High School in 2012. Christian spent the bulk of his time at Southgate Anderson HS staying involved in athletics, working with the parks and recreation department as a sports official, and volunteering within the community. Following his graduation from Anderson HS, Christian went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan - Dearborn, where he held multiple leadership roles in highly esteemed student organizations.
With a goal of becoming an attorney that was sparked at a young age, Christian went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree with honors from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. While in law school, Christian spent time volunteering as a student attorney and successfully represented military veterans in their claims and appeals through the Department of Veterans Affairs for VA benefits related to service-connected injuries. Christian also worked as a law clerk for a fortune 100 company while going to law school full-time. After passing the bar exam the summer following law school graduation, Christian began working as civil defense attorney and continues to do so with one of the largest and most successful law firms in the state of Michigan.
Following his admission to the Michigan bar, Christian bought his first home in Southgate. Christian joined Southgate’s City Council in November of 2021 following his election to the same. Christian is licensed to practice law in all federal and state courts in Michigan. In addition to serving on the city council and practicing law, Christian is the council liaison for the board of zoning appeals and dangerous building hearing board.
