SENIOR SMART BUS TRANSPORTATION
In conjunction with the City of Southgate and SMART Transportation, we offer a curb to curb service to every Southgate Senior or person with a disability that DOES NOT drive. We do charge $2.00 round trip. We will take each resident up to 2 bus rides a week to various appointments (i.e. doctors, hair, taxes, banking, shopping, etc.). We travel to most surrounding cities such as, Taylor, Allen Park, Wyandotte, Riverview, Trenton, Woodhaven, Lincoln Park and some parts of Brownstown. Unfortunately we DO NOT travel to Dearborn, Dearborn Heights or Detroit. We can offer 2 additional bus services phone number that offer the same fare of $2.00 round trip*. Let our dependable bus drivers give you a lift!

*To help with the cost of riding the SMART bus, Southgate Sr. Center can provide 30-50 cents SMART tickets monthly to any Senior 55+ that does not drive. If interested please call the Senior Center: Diane Grabowski 734-258-3066 Mon-Thurs 9:00 a.m. - 3 p.m.

We have 1 bus (hoping to get our 3rd bus back soon) doing appointments. 1 slot for every hour time slot between 9:30 and 12:30, or 3-4 appointments total per day. It is first come first serve. Please make appointments as soon as possible.
BINGO
Wednesdays
Bingo starts at 10am, we will begin picking up seniors at 8:30am. Please call the office 734-258-3066 and make your bus appointment for bingo. Bingo will end between 1-1:30pm.
CONCERTS AT MARKET CENTER PARK
Thursdays, June 16th-August 25th
Music is from 6-8pm, pick-up time will be approximately 5-5:15pm! You must stay the whole time. Please remember the Sr. Center Bus transportation is for seniors that DO NOT drive. Chairs will be available for those who ride the bus. Buses are limited to 7-10 seniors, with only 2 wheel chairs spots available, so call weekly to make your reservation. Please call Diane @ 734-258-3066 if you would like to have the Sr. Bus come and pick you up.
