This program is designed for easy exercises to develop flexibility, strength and muscle tone. This program is excellent for people who are inactive, have arthritis or limited movement. NOT currently scheduled.

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise system for health, relaxation and longevity.  It is practiced in gentle, flowing movements and is joint friendly.

Medical research at the Mayo Clinic, the Harvard Medical Center and elsewhere has shown that Tai Chi can improve balance, muscle strength, flexibility, respiratory and immune functions and memory.  It is considered a moderate intensity cardiovascular and weight bearing exercise that is especially effective for seniors.
