A wide range of tennis classes will be offered for all skill levels of different age groups...even adults!
DIRECTOR OF TENNIS
Coach Sol: Highly successful Coach Sol will lead the Southgate Tennis Program. Sol and his staff bring a wealth of Championship experience. Sol coached high school tennis from 2004-2011 and received multiple Coach of the Year awards. All of his Varsity teams were ranked Top 10 in the State of Michigan and numerous players from his teams earned Michigan All-State 1st team honors. Sol has also directed many tennis tournaments for Southgate, Grosse Ile and other Cities/Clubs.
CLASS OFFERINGS
Class 1: Beginners/Intermediates- Ages 5-7 Mon. & Wed. 8:30-9:30 a.m.*
Class 2: Beginners/Intermediates- Ages 8-10 Mon. & Wed. 9:40-10:40 a.m.*
Class 3: Beginners/Intermediates- Ages 11-12 Mon. & Wed. 10:50-11:50 a.m.
Class 4: High School Beginners- Ages 13-18 Tues. & Thurs. 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Class 5: High School Intermediate/Advanced Skills Development- Ages 13-18 Tues. & Thurs. 10:15-11:15 a.m.
Class 6: High School Intermediate/Advanced Drills & Games- Ages 13-18 Tues. & Thurs. 7:00-8:30 pm
Class 7: High School Singles Strategies/Drills/Match Play- Ages 13-18 Mon. & Wed. 12:00-1:30 p.m.
Class 8: High School Doubles Strategies/Drills/Match Play- Ages 13-18 Tues. & Thurs. 11:30-1:00 p.m.
COST: $50/class
*For Classes #1 & #2 age/size appropriate racquets will be available for purchase for an extra fee of $20.
Note: High School Players that are Intermediate/Advanced level may sign up for more than one of the classes #5-8.
