CLASS INFORMATION
General
This season we will be running US Figure Skating’s Learn to Skate USA Program that was rolled out June 1st, 2016. Each skater skating in our Snowplow Sam or Basic Classes is required to have a US Figure Skating Learn to Skate USA Membership. This membership is included in your registration fee on a once a season basis. The first time you register you will be charged the additional fee and any time you register after you will NOT be charged that fee. If you already have a US Figure Skating Membership or a Learn to Skate USA Membership you will not be charged that fee. The Recreation Department will have a record of all US Figure Skating Members. With your membership you will receive a Welcome Packet which will include a membership card, a record book to track progress through the program and a Learn to Skate USA Magazine.
Please arrive about 15 minutes prior to their scheduled class time allowing sufficient time to get skates on. Skaters will be assigned to classes according to their level and ability. Class times and instructor information will be posted on the Figure Skating Bulletin Board in Rink B one week prior to classes starting. You may also call the Arena Office for skate times. If an email address is provided on your form, the schedule will also be emailed out. Proper skating attire is required. No bare skin legs allowed. Skate rental is available for $2.00.
