The Parks & Recreation Department is located inside of the Southgate Civic Center located at 14700 Reaume Parkway, Southgate, MI 48195. Our office is located directly inside the green doors across the street from the parking lot located behind the Police Department- GOOGLE MAP
Office hours are currently Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Please call to verify hours before coming in.
Registrations can be done two different ways. In person at the Southgate Parks & Recreation Department during normal business hours or online by visiting www.southgaterec.com.
At this time, we do NOT accept phone registrations.
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover during normal business hours with the cardholder present and by showing proper identification.
Do not delay in registering for a program. Many programs have limited availability and fill fast. Conversely, nothing ruins a good program quicker than everybody waiting until the last minute to register. Most programs have a deadline listed. Please register early to avoid program cancellations. A $25 late fee will be assessed AFTER a deadline of most programs.
